With immediate effect, payments towards the Voila! loyalty benefit and medical scheme contributions will be facilitated by two separate debit orders (ie. one debit order for Voila! membership and one debit order for Resolution Health Medical Scheme, medical scheme contributions).
This is in line with the stipulations of Section 26(4) of the Medical Schemes Act 131 of 1998, which, indirectly disallows for ancillary products to be collected together with medical schemes contributions in a scheme’s bank account.
The member does not have to do anything to arrange a separate debit order with their bank as this will be automatically done by Resolution.
